And when we started to think about the possibility of the world’s biggest B2B cloud conference being slim this year amid the global pandemic, Salesforce came out with innovation ‘Dreamforce to You 2020’ & they delivered. The first-ever virtual Dreamforce & a keynote. Dreamforce keynotes are always action-packed & this year it was no different. There were some major announcements & product innovation, which are just Salesforce things.

On Dec 2nd, Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff delivered the virtual keynote where he shared the future vision, celebrated customer success, and introduced new innovations across the Customer 360 Platform. Let’s have a sneak peek of what happened during the keynote.

Salesforce Acquired Slack

Salesforce acquired Slack, the most innovative communications platform in their biggest deal ever with a whopping $27.7 billion. This will combine Slack with Salesforce Customer 360 which will help Salesforce customers transform the way they communicate & collaborate in all-new digital, work from anywhere world.

Salesforce Hyperforce

In one of the major announcements, Salesforce has introduced Hyperforce, a reimagination of the company’s architecture built to deliver exceptional services across the complete suite of Salesforce Customer 360 including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Industries & more, on major public clouds. Hyperforce will be able to offer a robust & highly scalable platform to help Salesforce customers accelerate their growth. This will help enable Salesforce customers to access any Salesforce app & platform from anywhere leveraging the agility of the public cloud.¬†

Salesforce Einstein Automate

Salesforce also introduced Einstein Automate which is an end-to-end workflow automation solution to make businesses more productive. Considering the fast-shifting digital approach & the volume of data they generate, organizations require a highly efficient workflow automation technology to help employees enhance their productivity. With the introduction of Einstein Automate, Salesforce customers will be able to drive top-notch automation to build intelligent workflows & integrate data across any system with simple clicks, and not codes. With Einstein Automate, enterprises can automate anything, integrate anything & transform any industry. 

Service Cloud Workforce Engagement

In another major announcement, Salesforce introduced Service Cloud Workforce Engagement, a brand-new dynamic workforce planning solution to help contact centers forecast demand for customer service & support, assign service agents accordingly, and coach service agents remotely in real-time to deliver trusted service experiences. The solution will enable Salesforce customers to deliver outstanding customer service with the right demand prediction, and assign the right agent with the right skills at the right time.

Bentley Motors is a Trailblazer

During the keynote, Salesforce also announced that the British automotive giant Bentley Motors will deploy Salesforce Cloud solutions to power their employees a 360-degree view of customers by connecting their sales, service & marketing teams. This will also help them deliver personalized customer experiences across verticals.
